Busy Real Estate office seeks Administrative Assistant

What We Are Looking For:
• Preferred, not necessary with experience
o Minimum 2-3 years related office admin & social media experience
o College or University degree in Communications or related fields
o Demonstrated experience leading social media marketing campaigns
• Background in Real Estate would be an asset
• Thorough knowledge of the social landscape including creative and copywriting skills
• Strong problem-solving & decision-making skills
• Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Photoshop, Canva, and Internet
• Demonstrated ability to organize schedules including the evaluation & reprioritization of schedules when
unexpected priorities arise and independently follow-up on action items, maintain calendars, maintain files, and
prepare correspondence and other presentation materials
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgement regarding sensitive matters
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
• Demonstrated well-developed service-based interpersonal and communication skills, in person, in writing and by phone
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, accurately and in a well-organized manner
• Demonstrated ability to organize work environment and respect deadlines while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to change
Role Responsibilities:
Open and close the office Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
During peak seasons there may be some evening and weekend work required
Welcome walk-in customers, answer phones and be able to answer questions and direct appropriately
Attending team functions, which may include weekend conferences or after-hour events
Light housekeeping of office, as needed
Oversees day-to-day social media management, development, and distribution
o Learn and grow in knowledge of the Real Estate industry
o Create content for blog posts & social media platforms, creating a daily and weekly content schedule
o Create content for website, digital advertisements, mail outs, outdoor sign, and other as requested by the Real Estate Team.
o Update Agent social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube to keep current
o Update Team & Agent websites to keep current
o Brainstorm ideas with team members to keep marketing strategies updated, unique, relevant, and fresh
Assist Office Manager whenever needed
o Sending emails, cleaning, helping with overflow work when volumes are high, covering office duties when manager is away from the office
o Assist with paperwork, prepping documents for agents, keeping files organized and processing all paperwork as needed
